Squash variety belonging to the “Gusto Italiano” project. A traditional variety from Northern Italy, also known as Bertina, it is characterized by excellent productivity and vigorous plant growth. Its large, flattened fruits have a thick rind, lead green tending towards grey, which ensures an extended storage life, lasting well beyond the winter months. The fruits are harvested with part of the stem attached. The yellow-orange flesh is pleasantly sweet, making it ideal for the fresh market.
