Short-day white onion, suitable for sowing at the end of August/beginning of September, transplanting at the end of October/beginning of November. Early cycle for May harvests. Short-day, i.e. its cultivation begins in autumn, when the photoperiod is decreasing and the days are therefore shorter. Early variety. Also possible with winter sowing, spring transplanting and summer harvesting. Product suitable for fresh consumption, with a shelf life of about 3 months. Also excellent for the production of spring onions. Characterized by a soft and not very pungent taste, particularly suitable for raw preparations and in the typical dishes of the Venetian and Venetian tradition based on onion such as "saore", "bigoli in salsa" and "fegato alla veneziana". The bulb is white and not perfectly spherical in shape.
