A complete range of Winter, Summer and All Season wild and salad rockets (arugola), resistant to Fusarium and highly tolerant to mildew (Bremia).

Highly selected varieties, characterized by an upright habit, a long shelf life and by the shape of their leaves, which appear deeply jagged from the first cut.

A first distinction in this group corresponds to a differentiation between Wild Rocket and Salad Rocket (arugola). In fact, despite having similar names and taste, they belong to different categories and species: in particular, Wild Rocket belongs to Diplotaxis tenuifolia, while Salad Rocket to Eruca sativa.

Salad Rocket (arugola) seeds are big, similar to cabbage seeds. It is characterized by high yields and it is extremely easy to grow, as both the sowing and sprouting processes are very simple. It is excellent for indoor cultivation and also recommended for Vertical Farming.

Wild Rocket represents the most noble among the rocket range.
This is a highly professional product. Its tiny seeds require particular care in the processes of sowing and sprouting.

Our interesting offer of multi-seed pellets consists of inert conglomerates containing 32 seeds each. These pellets are thought for the production of seedlings to be cultivated inside trays and then transplanted at a density of 30/50 seedlings per square metre. This option is perfectly suitable for the cultivation in small areas, to avoid the complex process of direct sowing.
Can be harvested both as bunches or as baby leaf.

Smarties range offers different varieties, categorized according to different sowing and harvest periods:

All Season Variety: variety that performs throughout all the seasons. High bolting tolerance during the summer, it also shows excellent strength to the coldest temperatures. Usually characterized by high productivity. Resistent to Fusarium and Bremia.

Winter cropping variety: highly professional variety. It is suitable for end-of-season sowing, meaning  that the crop can tolerate multiple cuts thanks to both its genetics and the climate (from September to February). The same type (i.e. winter variety) can be sown starting from early January up until March, when the long photoperiod and warm weather are no longer fitting for highly vigorous winter varieties. We chose to breed these varieties as Fusarium resistant, as the temperatures we can find in the tunnels in September could be ideal for the development of this pathogen.

Summer Cropping Variety: this variety is characterized by high bolting resistance. Its restrained vigour makes it able to bear high summer temperatures. Its highly selected genetics makes it suitable for multiple cuts also in extreme situations. Dark-green or medium dark-green colour to avoid leaves from fading with high temperatures. To be sown only during the summer (from May to September). Also good for indoor growing.
