Coated seeds

For easy handling of smaller seeds, to facilitate both mechanical sowing in the nursery and manual sowing in a nursery tray, we have come up with a professional coating, the seed pill. The best part of the seed lot, a selected heart with higher germination and vigour, is selected and covered with a natural, inert, untreated material to form the 'pill'. There are many advantages of the pill seed; the main one being the avoidance of double seedlings in the same seedbed, as well as a high germination rate and uniformity of emergence. Beware of exposure to humid environmental conditions; the pill material fears high RH %.
