STORIES AND TECHNIQUES OF ORGANIC RICE CULTIVATION.
A concrete and documented journey into the world of organic rice in Italy, told through history, farming practices, experimentation, studies, people, communities, places, and policies. A compass for citizens, but also for farmers, to make increasingly conscious choices.
Because “organic” is not just a label, but also, and above all, a precise choice: respecting the land and deciding what agricultural future we want to build together, one grain at a time.
Stefano Bongi (Turin, 1982): Freelance journalist since 2007, listed in the professional register since 2011. He works in political and institutional communication and collaborates with the Biodistrict of Piedmontese Rice.
Gianpaolo Andrissi (Milan, 1965): Biology teacher, pacifist and environmentalist, former regional councillor of Piedmont and president of the Biodistrict of Piedmontese Rice since its establishment.
The book is available exclusively in Italian.
In collaboration with Rete Semi Rurali
