Corn salad (Smarties.bio Smarties.bio) (Valerianella locusta), also known as lamb’s lettuce or field salad or mâche seeds, is a year-round crop for fourth-range (IV gamma) fresh-cut production.

Smarties.bio proposes two types of corn salad seeds: XS113 and XS114.

Corn salad XS113 is the Smarties.bio variety selected for professional production: high sowing density, medium cycle, good post-harvest shelf life. Ideal for summer and spring sowings.
Corn salad XS114 is instead suitable for intermediate sowings and for the cold period. With its upright rosette habit, with dark, rounded leaves, very firm and crunchy, it has excellent productivity thanks to the high specific weight of the plant.
