Luigi Divari, born and living in Venice, has for a long time been sailing the lagoons and the sea with his boats, inevitably meeting many fish and fishermen.
After several publications on boatbuilding, and especially on traditional sails, in this work he gathers many excerpts from his personal experiences in matters of fishing, cooking, and fishermen, after having painted from life, and often live, all the subjects illustrated.
