BABY LEAF LETTUCE: GREEN, RED AND BLONDE
Baby leaf lettuce production is based on the combination of three fundamental colours: green (Albaverde, red (Albarossa) and blonde/pink (Albabionda, Albarubra). The balance between these tones determines the visual appearance of the final mix and its commercial positioning.

VARIETAL CHARACTERISTICS
Smarties.bio baby leaf lettuce varieties are selected for: short cycle (25-35 days), heat stress tolerance, tender leaf with good post-cut shelf life, high yield per square metre. These characteristics make them ideal for both field and tray cultivation and vertical farm.
